           Ok I know this has been around for a while lol. I'm still excited enough to write a blog post about it. I have raved about wnw shadows in the past so I'm sure this is'nt a great surprise to you guys, but I love it !!

          The right side has three mauve-ish colors and a sparkly charcoal. I pretty much followed the directions to get this look.

         

          The left side has more true purple and violet colors. This palette is perfect for those with green, hazel, or brown eyes. Again I just followed the directions to get this look.

           This palette is everything I hoped it would be, and more :) It was totally worth the wait.

Come On Urban Decay !

          Urban Decay has just become the next cosmetic company to give way to dollars over principles. I was so saddened and disappointed to hear that they ( who have always touted themselves to be animal friendly,) have recently allowed their products to be tested on animals.

          I stumbled upon this news through a blog I'm subscribed to. It said that U.D. began selling their products in China which requires animal testing. I went to the PETA website and found that they had removed U.D. from their companies that don't test list. I also found several articles on this matter.

          I myself will not be purchasing any more products from Urban Decay. I wanted to put this out there so you can be informed of this situation so you can make your own decision. I have recently made a promise to never use or feature products tested on animals on my youtube channel. I uploaded a video about it a few weeks ago.

What's on my desk

Hi guys I thought I'd give you a tour of my desk essentials. This little basket of goodies gets me through the day.

Wet n Wild Hi Shine Top Coat

     I have been experimenting with different top coats,  and so far have not found a fav. This one is good for shine, but not great for preventing chippage ( is that a word ?).

Frog Magnifying Glass

     This is invaluable to me because of my sight. It makes all those tiny labels easier to read. I also love frogs.

Riccola Cough Drops

     I talk all the time. These are the best ! They keep my whistle wet, and I love the lemony flavor.

Pad & Pen

     Well this is pretty self explanitory lol.

Hand Cream

     This one is from caudalei. I love the cute little size. It's a mild light cream that sinks in quickly.

I also keep whatever polish I'm currently wearing . If you guys can suggest a good top coat let me know :)

Eos Lip Balm in passion fruit

     This thing is practically worn down to a nub. I really like this flavor, but it was limited edition. When it is gone I will replace it with another flavor I love, summer fruit.

Drugstore Products I'm Dyeing To Try

          Hi everybody, in my attempt to post more blogs I thought you guys might find this interesting. Next I will do a high end version. I hope you enjoy !

          Physicians Formula mineral wear airbrushed translucent pressed powder
I have been looking for a nice pressed powder for my purse( I use HD powder at home). I have been eyeing this one for a while. I must admit I'm a sucker for anything that sayse airbrushed lol. My only potential gripe about this is that the packaging is bulky.

I know I know this is old, but I just haven't gotten around to trying it . I love wet n wild shadows, and I have green eyes so I love purple. I am more attracted to the top 4 colors than the bottom 4.

          Revlon colorburst lip butter in tutti frutti
I have 4 lip butters( cotton candy, peach parfait, cherry tart, and sweet tart). I love this vivid color ! It's so spring :) I also love the butters in general. Actually come to think of it I'd like to try sugar plum too lol.

I really like the look of this palette. I think these would be pretty as bases or even highlights. I have never tried these before.

          Ok so I know that this was a little revlon heavy, but they are my favorite brand. Let me know what you guys are dyeing to try. ( Did I spell Dyeing right ??)

Cute Plus Size Dress & How I'd Style It

          Hello there, I was perusing through walmart the other day, and saw this dress. It looks pretty boring on the mannequin, but I saw lots of possibilities :)

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not crazy about my arm showing. I also like the way this crisp white sweater works against the coral & neutral accessories. I would scrunch up the sleeves to be 3/4 length, and you can wear it over the belt open, or under the belt. Choices choices lol.

          This look is eclectic, and covers a few different trends right now. I really think this little dress is so versatile.  I think you could make it beachy, boho, tribal, or chic. I also think if you buy the black color you could pop a cute cowl neck sweater underneath.  Wear opaque tights and cute booties and you're good to go.

          Hi Guys, I have been seriously neglecting my poor blog so much. Whenever I get an idea for a blog I decide to do a video instead. I tend to enjoy filming more than blogging lol. I am going to make a serious effort to blog more :)

          I put swf in my inner third of my lid, I used ecstasy on the outer two thirds. (this color looks intense but it is actually quite soft when applied). I used stray dog in the crease and blended well. I used dark horse on the outer third of my lower lash line. This is the urban decay feminine palette btw.

          I used virgin from the naked palette as my highlight for my brow bone. This color has become my favorite highlight lately. I've been really into matte highlights.

           I put a sheer wash of too faced pink leopard all over my face for a warm glow.

       
     
          I used josie marins lip and cheek stick in summer lovin. It's a soft peony pink color. I put this on my apples and blended.

 
          This has been my favorite lip combo this month. I use revlon matte lipstick in stormy pink, and I put revlons lip butter in cotton candy over it. OOOOOOOOOh so girlie and pink !
