Is Your Root Chakra Unbalanced?
Are you feeling stuck or in a rut? Or are you feeling insecure, unstable, and out of place? Chances are this may be a symptom of your Root Chakra being unbalanced.
Chakras are strong points of energy around your body that govern different functions including physical, mental, and emotional. If one or more of these are out of sync you will experience a combination of symptoms.
The Root Chakra is the first chakra. It sits at the base of the spine. This chakra represents physical health, activity, and how one feels about their surroundings.
When the Root Chakra is unbalanced you may feel the following:
.in a rut
.feeling out of place or insecure
.back and or leg pain
The good news is that there are several ways to balance your Root Chakra.
Firstly be honest with yourself. Are you happy with your home, relationship,job,physical health? Journal about what you are feeling, and what you want to strengthen or change. Becoming aware of your fears and issues is the first step toward balance.
Get some exercise ! physical movement is crucial to balancing this chakra that represents movement and action. Go for a walk/run, play sports,do yoga, or play with your kids. Speaking of yoga the following poses are perfect for balancing the Root Chakra( the tree, the chair, and downward dog).
Clean up your diet with a healthy detox program, incorporating fresh fruit and veggies will improve your mood and appearance. Find a healthy detox plan that works for you. I personally love juicing and smoothies.
